Data Controller
Your business is the data controller for customer data processed through Polyglot Helpdesk. For your account data, the controller is the business you registered with.
Purposes
We process your data to provide the helpdesk service, manage your account, send transactional emails (verification, password reset), and, with your consent, marketing communications.
Lawful Basis
Processing is based on contract performance (service delivery), legal obligation (e.g. retention), and consent (marketing).
Data Categories
We process: account data (email, name, password hash), business data (name, slug, settings), consent records (terms, privacy, marketing), and usage data (IP, user agent) for consent audit.
Retention
Account and business data are retained until you delete your account. Consent records are kept for compliance. Customer conversation data follows your business retention policy.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and to withdraw consent. Use Settings > Privacy to export or delete your data.
